This Privacy Policy describes how Galimutti Tech Private Limited and its affiliates (collectively "Galimutti Tech Private Limited," "we," "our," "us") collect, use, share, protect, or otherwise process your information and personal data through our mobile application, MapMyStory (hereinafter referred to as "the Service" or "the Platform").

We do not offer any product or service under this Platform outside India, and your personal data will be primarily stored and processed in India. By using our Service, providing your information, or availing any product/service offered on the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. You agree to be governed by the laws of India, including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use or access our Service.

To provide and improve our Service, we collect various types of information, including personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") and other data.

a. Personal Information You Provide Directly

When you use our Service, you may provide us with certain Personal Information that can be used to contact or identify you. This includes, but is not limited to:

b. Information Collected Automatically (Device and Usage Data)

When you access or use the Service, we may automatically collect certain information. This includes:

• Location Data: To enable the core functionality of mapping your stories, we collect your precise geographic location data using technologies like GPS, Wi-Fi, or cellular networks. We only collect location data with your explicit permission and only when the app is actively in use.
• Device Information: We collect your device token solely for the purpose of facilitating API calls related to our services, specifically for push notifications. No other device-specific information is collected.
• Log Data: In the future, for internal analytics and error reporting, we may collect Log Data (such as device IP address, operating system version, app configuration, time and date of service use, and other statistics). If we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
• Usage Data: We do not currently collect Usage Data. In the future, we may collect such data to understand app usage and improve user experience. If we do, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

c. Information from Third-Party Services

We use certain third-party services that may collect information. We strongly recommend you review the privacy policies of these third-party service providers.

We use the collected information for various purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain the Service: To operate and deliver the core functionalities of the MapMyStory app, including enabling you to create, store, and view your stories, and to facilitate the sale of books.
• To Manage Your Account: To manage your registration and provide you access to various features and the marketplace.
• To Enhance and Personalize the Service: To improve features, develop new functionalities, and customize your experience.
• To Facilitate Transactions: To assist sellers and business partners in handling and fulfilling orders, and processing payments and refunds.
• To Communicate With You: To send you updates, security alerts, and support messages related to the Service, including push notifications.
• To Ensure Security: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activities.
• To Comply with Legal Obligations: To meet any applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests.

We may share your Personal Information in limited circumstances:

• With Your Consent: We may share your information if you give us explicit consent to do so, such as when you choose to make a story public or share it with specific users.
• With Service Providers: We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service, provide services on our behalf (e.g., push notifications), or assist in analyzing app usage. These third parties have access to your information only to perform these tasks and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to legal processes, enforce our Terms of Use, protect our rights or property, or ensure the safety of our users or the public. We may also disclose personal and sensitive personal data to government agencies or law enforcement if legally compelled to do so.
• Business Transfers: If Galimutti Tech Pvt Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your Personal Information may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Information is transferred.

We adopt reasonable security practices and procedures to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is protected with encryption at rest and other robust security measures. However, the transmission of information over the internet is not completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their login and password records. We will never ask you for sensitive information like credit/debit card PINs or net-banking passwords via email or phone call.

Account Deletion

You have the option to delete your account by visiting your profile and settings on our Platform. Upon deletion, we will initiate the process of deleting or anonymizing your Personal Information associated with your account, generally within 30 days. We may retain certain data for a longer period if necessary to prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations, or address a pending claim or dispute.
